Sport in countries is promoted activity for health and also for supplementary roles as culture tie and entertainer between people. As being in a dry land as the UAE sports mainly in UAE are related to desert sand where horses and camels live and rule the roost. People group together to watch and enjoy various sports which are traditional and famous once like camel racing. In arrival of activity related to modern sports like F1 and golf which cater to the rich people and tourists. The popularity of the traditional sports does not stop it from exist in the common Arab hearts. The government of UAE constructed sport club with the state of the art facilities which allow residence to play and enjoy their favorite and entertainment sports with leisure. Traditional sport have being given weightage which is equal and promoted to keep the value of the heritage alive for generations coming in future. Various championship and sport events arranged with a regular basis to attract players from international ring which give the country ship global viewer. Many sport activities work together to play a role which is active to promote the tourism in the country. Some of the famous traditional sport are:

Camel racing: is an Arab sport that is traditional and a hundred year part of native lives. The main two types used for racing are the Sudania and Omani which are different in this sport by the color. They are eating a typical diet of milk and dates to make them run for a certain distance to help building their stamina. This sport now is given a formal status with fifteen track race across the UAE emirates. Some of the famous and well known once are the Nad Al Sheba in Dubai and Al Wathba in Abu Dhabi. Horse Racing: the recognizable Arabian horse all over the world for its bloodline rich and one of the ancient horse that been known. The horse racing is a part that is essential in the Arabian life with many tournaments that are arranged along with lessons that held for people who are eager to learn. Dubai is one of the emirate which known to host richest of horse racing tournament around the world.

Traditional boat racing: sport that are intricate Arab life part. In the past year boats were used to be longer but in these days they are not. Its amazing thing to see a crew that are packet and propelling the boat toward finish line as the cheers heard from the crowd.

Falconry: is one of traditional sport that are oldest in the UAE going back to almost two thousand year. It was only originally enjoyed by rich Sheikhs and also used falcon to hunt houbara and hares to feed the tribe. They were used also along with Saluki dog hunting down and chasing gazelles. It’s not a simple sport because it’s require patience for training the bird and show his skills.
